For transparent ink intaglio printing substrate usually BOPET film, BOPP film, BOPA film and so on. How to choose substrate, aluminized film and foil?
There are usually VMPET film, VMCPP film and so on. In the selection of this kind of aluminum coating, there are special requirements for the thickness of the aluminum coating. The thickness of the aluminum coating can be measured by the optical density (OD value). Generally, the OD value of the aluminum coating cannot be less than 1.8, otherwise the surface of the aluminum coating is blackened, and the glossiness of the printed image and text is not enough after compounding with the transparent ink printing film.
When the transparent ink printing film and the aluminum foil are compounded, the bright side of the aluminum foil must be compounded with the transparent ink printing film to achieve the high reflection effect.
